Yep, that's done by hand...

Over 2hours on this bad boy. I like to think its worth it - but then I just sat down on illustrator and recreated the same thing in less than 20mins.. Doing things by hand is awesome but at times far to tedious! Anyway - as you can probably guess this is development of my previous curve stitch type work. I had plans to create a whole type face - which I'm still eager to do - but I'm struggling to find a way to tie this into my art installation idea. My plans are to take a range of art and craft techniques and show them off to the country promoting the old school granny hobby people believe it to be - so far curve stitching is the only technique and craft I've properly been able to adapt. I think some more thought will have to go into this...
