It's been a while since I updated this blog with some new work isn't it? Below is a sneak peek at what I've been working on the past couple of months. Some pieces live, some pieces in progress, some unfortunately never saw the light of day! Ah well. More updates coming soon.

Turns out I'll be working along side these folks later this year when I intern at Mercy. Really looking forward to this. Mercy are one of my favourite studios in the UK and putting out some great work throughout Liverpool. More details on this soon!

- Sound City

A few snaps from a epic weekend at Liverpool Sound City fest.

Braids

Fucked Up

Lanterns on the Lake

- Mailed

First in a new series of mini-portfolio mailers with projects created in the past 12months. A selection of works printed on 250gsm bristol board and contained in a strong card folded sleeve. Plan to knock out a few of these the next couple of months to mail out to studios throughout the northwest and possible freelance clients. The first is going out to Mercy studio in Liverpool.

In other news I was recently interviewed by the folks at OWT.. Check it out here. And have been featured on Design in Europe and Dabomba. Happy Days. Waiting on a couple of projects to come back to me soon so expect some new eye candy in the next couple of weeks - Promise!

- Ahoy there

I've been trying to find an excuse to blog for weeks now - not that I haven't been busy (far from it!) - Since the majority of my posts last month we're in relation to features and promotion I wanted to wait until I actually had some new work to talk about.. And you know what? I still haven't got any... Pretty good huh?

Main reason is I've started working full time the past month at Liverpool council in their design department. Good to finally be doing what I enjoy each and everyday and earning a steady wage from it - even though the work isn't the most inspiring of design the experience has been crucial! Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be able to post up some of the work I've been doing, and when I say some.. I mean lots, the turnaround is pretty insane!

I've been able to keep a few freelance projects on the go in-between the hectic full time hours and should hopefully have a couple of projects ready to unveil soon. I'm also working on a few exhibition pieces for shows later in the year as well as a new series of stitched posters.. Things are happening (just not as quick as they use too!) Watch this space for plenty of updates soon. In the mean time, might I suggest you check out the below video. Awesome stuff

- OWT Exhibition

A couple photos from the recent OWT exhibition in Manchester I was lucky enough to be involved in. Apparently the show has just been extended an extra week! If your knocking about the Northern quarter soon make sure you pop into Cord Bar and witness a great mix of up an coming north west designers. More photos here
